  • Location Data: real‑time GPS data to monitor driving behaviour and vehicle usage

  • Usage Logs: activity and transaction logs related to app and website usage

3. How We Collect Information

We collect personal information through:
– Our websites and mobile apps (iOS and Android)
– Telematics devices (e.g. GPS trackers, dashcams)

Affiliates: other Cartrack group companies involved in service delivery

– The recipient is subject to comparable privacy safeguards;
– You have expressly consented; or
– We have implemented appropriate contractual or other safeguards in line with APP 8.

Where we transfer personal information outside Australia, we ensure overseas recipients handle it in accordance with the APPs by:
– Incorporating binding contractual clauses
– Assessing the recipient’s privacy practices
– Obtaining your consent where required by law

We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure, including:
– Encryption of data in transit and at rest
– Secure servers, firewalls and access controls
– Regular security audits and monitoring

10. Children

Our services are intended for individuals aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware of any such collection, we will delete the information promptly.

We periodically review and update this policy. Any material changes will be published on our website with a revised “Effective” date.
